It's my grandmother's 4th Yartzeit today. May she be a maylitz yosher for us all.
I wanted to share a story about a time during the Holocaust when she was a young mother, trying to take care of my uncle, then just a little boy.
She went and found food to feed her young son. She was found! The Nazis lined her up and shot. Boom! She fell to the ground. She pretended to be dead - but she was alive! She was hit in the bundle of food hidden underneath her clothing! When the Nazis were gone she allowed herself to cry....she didn't have food for her child.

On another note, Happy Birthday to my dear, dear friend Rivky!! Rivky, a birthday is a very special day. :) May Hashem answer all your tefillos for the good! :) We love you!
