Typo Changes Ad to'Brother for Sale'

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- Barbara Bennett wanted to sell her Brother brand sewing machine, so she bought a classified advertisement under "Miscellaneous" and "Items under $50" in The Columbian newspaper.

Instead, the words "sewing machine" were accidentally dropped, leaving a "BROTHER" for sale ad.

One caller wanted to know if the price was negotiable. Another, upon hearing what was really for sale, said merely, "Thank you," and hung up.

Bennett, 41, a customer service representative, said Tuesday she has two brothers in California and is not putting either on the block. Newspaper officials agreed to run a corrected ad.

"It's OK, I needed a good laugh," Bennett said. "I had minor heart surgery on Friday, so it helps.

Have you ever been so busy with this & that that you just have no clue what's going on in the world around you?
I have three close family members in Israel at the moment and I'm really not sure what's going on. War with Lebanon. The North is dangerous. I'm tired.
Sorry, I know I'm not very into politics but this is OUR HOMELAND. I love Israel. It's my -- no our -- home! But...I just feel so out of it.
I'm eating blueberries now. They're supposed to be really healthy, besides for yummy. Anti-oxidant "powers." Why is it called powers?
One more week left of work and I'm FREE. Seriously. Am I ready to be a full-time mom for a full month??? For those of you I haven't told, I'm not returning to the same position next September. So as of next week I'm sorta unemployed. :) Well, actually I'm hired through August - paid vacation.
I went back to my archives and read my first few posts as "Mrs. Mosquito." They were "inspirationals" and stuff like that. Now I just speak about the humdrums of life. :) But B"H I speak about my kids, which is exciting for ME! But I apologize if it bores you.

Now that Avi can sit well, sometimes Yitzy goes over and pushes Avi over. I've tried to stop him - "Don't touch Avi - boo, boo!" but he still does it. Any suggestions?

Yitzy's singing a song he learned from the new Uncle Moishy (#1!) I just bought. "Torah tziva... mozeh!" sweeeeeeeeeeet! My little boy is really growing up. He can count "1 - 2- 3- 4-6-7-8-4-7-8!" and says "Twinkle Little Star" (sorta) and has started singing with me "Hamalach" a bit before he goes to bed!
