Raves & Rants
Been quite busy lately B"H.
Last week I had a first cousin's chasunah. An appointment. A sheva brochos. And Shabbos sheva brochos.
Last night was a girl from my class' chasunah.
It's so nice to have simchos B"H!
One rant here, though -- how do people chat through such a kodosh time? Besides for to each other, which I won't comment on at this time.
A cell phone rings during the chuppa. What would you do if it was yours? Rush to turn it off, I hope. Nope, the woman sitting behind me actually answered it and starting chatting, "I'm at so-and-so's chasunah..." At this point people around should turn off their cell phones if they forgot, right? Wrong. Someone else's cell rings LOUDLY. Maybe she silenced it, not sure...but 2 minutes later it rang again! I think that is really disrespectful for such an awesome time. Would you answer a phone when a godol is speaking before you? So what about when a couple is becoming one? Just my thoughts.
To change topics, work is good. Keeping me busy and getting me tired. But B"H it's much better than last year. I'm very happy with my class and looking forward to vacation (Chanuka) coming pretty soon!
Wishing you all the best and pretty soon -- a gut chodesh!
