Good News!
I saw my aunt the other day. She told me that my premie cousin is now 2 kilo! (like a big bag of nuts, lol)...that's over 4 pounds B"H! She's not on a respirator, but is still given oxygen. They're hoping she'll be weened off it by the time she was supposed to be born.
Please continue to daven for Penina Batya -s Shoshana Rachel
& we should share much good news!

Practicum, Instructions for Culminating Project
Each practicum student completes a 20-page culminating project. Students review their experiences in the graduate program and discuss aspects of the program that have been particular help to them. Students discuss their practicum observation lessons, including strengths and limitations of the lessons, and what was discussed during the practicum conferences with the observing professor, including recommendations for strengthening teaching skills and building positive relationships with children. Students also use at least three journal artcies as references for a discussion of problems facing new teachers (in both general and special education), and the kinds of support that have been found to help new teachers effectively deal with such problems. Students conclude their projects with a discussion of how their philosophies of education have developed over the course of their graduate studies and the nature of their current ideas on how they might approach various aspects of their work. Through the project, readings from the courses should be integrated into the discussion.
A 20-PAGE PAPER ON ALL THIS??? THIS IS WHAT I GOTTA DO TO GET MY MASTERS.....ANYONE CAN HELP? ;)

SIMCHALALALALA!!!
Life is beautiful – enjoy it!
It’s a gift – make the most of it!
It’s a beautiful day outside! The sun is shining! The birds are chirping! The snow is melting! Life is good!
And even if we have trouble, which we all do, let’s make the most of this gorgeous day! Smile and let the sunshine hit your face!!!
Today is Munchkin’s birthday! She’s 14!!! My little baby is growing up….. I bought her that camera that is on a sale at the Buzz. It better be good! It actually looks better than mine, which was double the price….
Purim is coming!!! Only a bit over a week left!
Last night I made a sign for my classroom door:
Mi Shenichnas OUR DOOR Marbin b’Simcha!!
:) :) :) May we all experience the simcha!!!

So...I had this dream....
It was Erev Shabbos...almost Shabbos already, and I was in my parents' home and the soup wasn't made yet! So I was starting it, and talking online...to EB! (Yeah, I know it's been a while! EB, do you read this??)
So...EB happened to say to me, "What type of soup did you make for Shabbos?"
I replied, "Well, actually, I haven't made it yet!"
So....thanks to advanced technology (!?!) she sent me 2 bags full through the computer!! EB to the rescue!! LOL, so what do you think about that?!? ;)

Typo Changes Ad to'Brother for Sale'
VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- Barbara Bennett wanted to sell her Brother brand sewing machine, so she bought a classified advertisement under "Miscellaneous" and "Items under $50" in The Columbian newspaper.
Instead, the words "sewing machine" were accidentally dropped, leaving a "BROTHER" for sale ad.
One caller wanted to know if the price was negotiable. Another, upon hearing what was really for sale, said merely, "Thank you," and hung up.
Bennett, 41, a customer service representative, said Tuesday she has two brothers in California and is not putting either on the block. Newspaper officials agreed to run a corrected ad.
"It's OK, I needed a good laugh," Bennett said. "I had minor heart surgery on Friday, so it helps.

Don't Breathe Near the Kids!
Today we had training at work. Good thing.... Tuesday I decided to go to the doctor because my throat hurt "a little." Since I work with children, I don't want to take a chance if it's strep and spread around germs (the germs I probably get from them in the first place!).
Anyhow, the doctor did one of those 3-minute strep tests and it came back "borderline"..couldn't tell for sure either way. So he sent one to the lab...it takes 48 hours. He said that I didn't feel better by the next day, I should start the antibiotics.
The next day...yesterday..was crazy...my assistant was out, I went to the dentist, etc etc...My throat still hurt a little, but I didn't get to a pharmacy. At night I woke up just coughing a little...so in the morning I filled the prescriptions just in case and starting taking it...then in the afternoon I spoke to the doctor...and it turns out I have strep!
I'm glad I didn't have fever, which many times comes with strep...and that I was up to working...I just hope no one caught it from me!!
I'm feeling fine, in general, B"H, so don't worry! (not that you would...not that many ppl read this...)
Have a great Shabbos!

Hockers Meet
So I was appoinged "person in charge" to write about it...mainly cuz Stammy & Q don't get on the computer....and since someone HAS to write about it (says Stammy), I guess it's me.
But I'm tired. I have a paper to do. But more importantly: sleep. (Yes, Q!, I didn't make up the sleep cuz of last night's "late" ice cream shop visit)....
So here it goes.... Q (or wtvr she wants to be called!) aka Morah Petity, came over and then Stammy joined. We shmoozed a little and then went out for ice cream...Stammy wanted to get out, didn't have an opinion where, she didn't even buy anything....but we "got out."
had a great time. lovely reunion. we missed the rest of you. next time one of you must join so you can write a more comprehensive review. (next time I should be in E"Y or Florida as an excuse...eh? I wish!)
