Monday & Tuesday is orientation with the children. I met 7/8 of my students on home visits. They are kn'h sooooooooooooooo cute!!

hi! I'm in a rush to college and then a wedding, but decided to put in a "hi". I'm so tired, I just want to curl up in bed with a book. It helps that it's chilly. That really makes me want to put on a warm blanket. But alas, I missed class last week so I have got to go today. Like it or not. The price we pay for an "education" (yeah, right. I learn hardly anything in this prof's class).

LOL! I was waiting for the ads over this site to change. I kept seeing Jewish related stuff (now it'll change back??) and Q kept seeing bladder-control stuff (don't ask!)...but now I actually see a change! Pain medications!!! And they're advertising the one I was prescribed for my tooth ache, which, by the way, is doing much better due to the antibiotics. Thank G-d!! What a relief!

School's Starting!
Hi, People! I decided to check in! I've been quite busy...but good news: our school building got the licensing!! That means we'll actually be STARTING SCHOOL with CHILDREN next week! I'm quite excited!

I'm at college now. The train & bus B"H came quick, so I came early..and where do you think I'm spending my few free moments, which are now coming to a close? good guess!

Thanks to y'all for wishing me less pain...and not less gelt! :) B"H I am feeling much better....the strong painkillers (narcotics...oy!) and antibiotics are B"H kicking in. I'm looking into which dentist to use...aka which will take my insurance and charge me the least, yet still do a good job!
Down South was great. We spent 3 days driving back instead of 2 so we could stop and smell the flowers - literally!
In Memphis we stopped and saw the Mississippi River. We took a trolley a few blocks down just for the experience! The usual cost is 60 cents per person..but during lunch time, when we took it (like 11-1:30) it's half price...we we had 2 round trips for less than one subway ride in New York....the trolley was soooooo cute! we took plenty of pictures!!
The sites were beautiful. We saw plenty of cows. Moooooooooooooooooo!
At one gas station we stopped at, the man at the counter saw my husband's yalmulke and tzitzis and my snood and asked me, "y'all coming from church?"
surely!

A special kudos to Q! for being the ONLY ONE to attempt at ANY of my riddles...and she got a 100%.........yahooray for Q!!! At least I'm glad I got a few responses in my gb, so I know ppl are reading!!!

TOOTHACHES

I don't wish anyone the pain of a toothache like I've had the last days of Yom Tov -- except maybe Arafat and Bin Ladin. It's the kind of pain that disables your whole body...you just wanna lay in bed and sleep, but you can't! :(
Non-asprin didn't work.
Motrin didn't work.
My wonder medicine: ICE. Yes, you heard right, ice. And I didn't have to worry about over-dosing. I sucked ice all Sunday to numb my gums where it was hurting.
My husband brought home some medicine that a doctor in shul suggested. Hopefully that's helping and I actually slept better last night.
The dentist appt is Thursday. Wish me luck. :( And no pain.

So I guess my other hock wasn't that great.... No one emailed me responses. The only people who responded did so in my guestbook - thinking they weren't in there! I'm sorry! I tried!! Pazz, Chanie...along the way I DID think of you, thinking how I could connect your names, as well. Rena, you ARE in there!! I guess I didn't do such a great job.
Well, today I was goodbye to "down south" as we head back "up north." Actually, east.... I'll miss y'all as I travel. You can call or email my phone, if you know the number!!

HOCKING ON THE ROAD!!!

So we were on our way "down south" and I noticed a sign on the highway. "Rehrersburg" it read. And I thought: cool! I gotta tell ______. And I just kept seeing signs and stuff that reminded me of my dear online friends. So...I made it a game! I watched out for signs that had connections to you guys. Unfortunately, I couldn't find EVERYONE but it doesn't mean I wasn't thinking of you!
So I wanna make this like a game. I can't tell you WHO some of these things refer to, because some are connected with people's REAL names...but send me an email at GISHMAK613@aol.com with your guesses and I'll let you know who does well!!

1. The Rehrersberg sign got me started with this.
2. Then I noticed a sign that said: POSITION OPEN NG INQUIRE WITHIN. Get it?
3. We passed Abrams Creek.
4. And a city called Roanoke, and Raleigh, which really connects better to this person's screename.
5. A truck I saw in Tennessee had the initials C.C.C.
6. Can you figure out who Martinsberg made me think of?
7. A cute sign: "Bee Alert, Arrive Unhurt." We tried our best to do that!

17. Almost done...this is a bit obvious...but I saw a sign pointing to St. Louis and to Missouri Street!! I can't believe I was that close!!

While we were driving, we watched a beautiful sunset! At one poing, I wanted to take a picture, so I opened the window...As we were driving about 70 mph, the wind was quite strong and blew my snood right off my head! YIKKKESS!! B"H No one (but my husband) could've seen b/c the road wasn't full! But it was hysterical!!!!!!
There were some other thoughts I wanted to share, but I don't remember them at this poing. So...for now...have a good yom tov!

Do You Know Me? Do I know You?
Sometimes I remember my dreams.
Usually not.
So last night when I had a dream involving hockers and I woke up, I forced myself to try to remember part of it. So here it is.
I was home (my home, I guess, but it looked different), when the door bell rang (or maybe someone knocked).
"Who's there?" I asked.
"Crazy Cat," was the reply. I was excited to have such a choshuv guest!
I opened the door, but it wasn't Crazy Cat. Actually it was DasHus(?), another online person. NO, THERE IS NO SUCH PERSON- SHE WAS A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION IN MY DREAM.
Now, I don't have much to do with DasHus, especially since she doesn't really exist. So I was wondering how she knew where I lived... She walked in, was chatting with me, this young (teenage? in her 20s?) personelle.
And I got thinking: I don't know her well. She knows where I live. She's really a stranger. Shouldn't I be worried?
When I woke up, I was thinking how you really gotta be careful with the info you give out online!!

Yes, this IS a second site of mine. Why do I keep it up? I guess cuz I sorta wanted to make a new, anonymous image. LOL.
