I was on a bus and a baby was crying..I heard a teenager say something like, "Babies shouldn't be allowed on buses." And I thought, "Rowdy teenagers shouldn't be allowed on buses!"
Kids are sick...Avi has broncitis. I took off work today.
My sister may need back surgery...ouch!
Avi's walking!! Yes, yes, it's very early, but he can take about 5-10 steps without holding. However, now that he's sick, he just wants to be held, so he's walking less.
Yitzy STILL into vacuums. At least he stopped asking for Barney lately. I usually don't go on the computer anymore when he's up so he won't think to ask for a DVD. What was for "emergency use only" was getting out-of-hand!
I know there are other things I want to add here. Every so often, I think, "I want to blog about this." but then I forget.
I was waiting for a bus and there was a man standing there, I think in the rain, trying to get people to get flyers. It looks so sad as people just walk by him, ignoring him. I know someone who did this a few years back, got paid probably $5 an hour...sometimes I take pity and take a flyer...This guy is trying to make some money....we should really make it easier for him.
Today I had to stay home from work because my mom wasn't available and I couldn't send a sick kid to the babysitter. My dh has been taking off a lot this week to watch them, so this time I decided I should take off. ANYONE OUT THERE CAN BABYSIT ONCE IN A WHILE FOR TIMES LIKE THIS??

Oh, I had a class reunion and a wedding last night. They were really nice! We were sitting at the restuarant at the reunion when my favorite teacher from high school walked in. I was like, "did you invite Miss S?" I asked the girl who arranged it. Turns out this teacher had come for another reunion in the same place, the same night...what a nice coincidence! She was delighted to see us, and we were thrilled to see her! I wish I was still in touch with her...but that's what happens in life.
Re: the below hoax. I had emailed her saying she could probably send me a money order. she sent me a picture...a black woman...she asked me for more information about myself, a picture...I didn't respond.

Should I switch to livejournal? Would people read this more, because it would be on their "friends" page and could constantly see updates when checking out everyone's blogs?

Haven't heard from you in soooooooo long!
How ya doing?

Yom Kippur was good. I was nervous about the fast, as on Tisha B'Av I felt really sick toward the end...however, Boruch Hashem, it went well. (It helps that Avi eats more solids).
I'm updating even thought there are no comments in a month (though- thank you, dear Dina, who commented but it didn't show up!).
Nothing much going on here. I am really happy with my new job, B"H. The kids are really cute and it's less preparation for me, as well!! I hope it works out monetarily, as well...we'll see!
